This picture shows a two inch diameter compressed air line and a three inch diameter bilge water discharge line.
|
They were fitted and welded in position between decks of a tugboat.
Because of the corrosive nature of salt water and salt content in the surrounding air, a 316L grade stainless steel was used for this application.
All welds and mechanical connections were pressure tested after installation. These simple checks help ensure trouble free operation and prevent down time while at sea.
